Youth


The Youth Department offers many different activities for children in middle school- through senior high school. There are several new activities and programs, as well as social interactions and special events.

The TRAC (Teen Recreation Activity Center): A supervised after school teen room for ages 10-17 for playing games, hanging out with friends, or finishing homework. Offered FREE to the community. New virtual reality and interactive games available.

Youth Boxing: An after school boxing program for middle and high school students. Learn the basics of Boxing with this great, non-contact class. Scholarships are available for this program or drop-in for $2 a session. Please see printed brochure for more information!!!

Teens 'N' Toning: This teen girls toning training class will help you shape, strengthen, and tone your muscles while emphasizing on symmetry and control. Class includes a Body Composition assessment at the first and last class to record changes in muscle mass. There will be a 50% discount on Wellness Center membership enrollment if purchased by the end of the class! Lose weight and have a team motivate you. Have all the support you need. Summer Camps: MCC provides many programs and activities during the summer in the form of summer camps. Camps include Adventure Day Camp, Extreme Day Camp, Camp Neyati Residence Camp, Sports Camps, and Specialty Camps.

American Red Cross Babysitting: Children 11 years and older who are beginning to baby-sit for family, friends and neighbors will learn the development growth stages for children, age-appropriate activities and concerns, and basic first aid.
