Fitness and Exercise
Classes and programs are offered for all ages and abilities. All classes are taught by professionally qualified instructors trained in the exercise sciences. Wondering what class is right for you? A fitness consultant will help you choose the right workout for your fitness level!

Group Fitness Classes: Options in step aerobics, high and low impact, boot camp, kickboxing, weight training, cycling, stability ball, Pilates, toning, senior classes, karate, tai chi, fencing, and weight management.
Wellness Center Facilities: Open during building hours. FREE orientation is required of all members, available by appointment.
Weight Room: Full line of 21 Nautilus circuit training machines, plus Free Motion weight equipment. Over 10,000 pounds of free weight equipment and 13 Hammer strength machines.
Cardio Room: Treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikes, rowing machines, Stairmasters, ski machines, jogging track and Cardio Theater.
Massage: A qualified staff of massage therapists and your choice of a table or chair massage is available.
Personal Trainer: Certified and degreed staff available for one on one consultation.
Step Up with the Center A local cable TV show featuring step and senior exercise routines.
Fitness Class Pass: Sign up for a Session Pass and you will be entitled to UNLIMITED drop-ins in any of the classes listed on the calendar. (Refer to brochure for class schedule, cost varies each session.)
Wellness Opportunities: Cholesterol and blood pressure screenings available.
Corporate Accounts: Partnerships with corporations to provide healthy opportunities for employees.
Specialty Exercise Classes Include Fitness & Aerobic Instructor Training, Tae Kwon Do, Body Sculpting for Women and Easy Aerobics for beginners, seniors, and pre and post natal populations, fencing tai chi, judo and various seasonal classes.
These classes are not included on the drop-in fitness schedule. Please refer to printed brochures.
Indoor Cycling Classes: Come and join us for a great interval training cycling class! We will teach you proper seating positions and proper riding techniques to give you a great workout. Maximum number per class is 11. So sign up and reserve your seat. Don't just sit there, sit and cycle.
Community Cholesterol Screening: Do you know your cholesterol numbers? Did you know that knowing your total cholesterol and hDL can help you to reduce your risk of heart disease? The Midland Community Center Wellness Services offers community screenings by appointment. The screening lasts about 15 minutes. We do non-fasting total cholesterol and HDL and a fasting lipid profile.
Worksite Wellness Services: We've just made it easier to create healthy workers. We bring health to your company! M.C.C. staff are degreed professionals in the Health and Fitness field. MCC will bring these educational seminars to your worksite.
