Tuesday and Thursday mornings there is a dance group that meets and line dances. The leader is a volunteer and brings the music. You can't be a beginner and join this group! But anyone who likes to line dance and knows the basics will have a wonderful time with this delightful group. Don't own a computer? Well, here is your chance to work on one in our new computer lab. You will be able to e-mail relatives and friends from our lab, work on letters, address lists and many other projects that might interest you. You will need to bring your own disc to store your information on and we won't allow you to add any software to the computers. You will need to have a membership to the 50+ Center for Active Adults. Then it will be free for members to use a computer or $4.00 for nonmembers. Lab times vary as to the classes and meetings held in the room. ALSO, new this year! The computer lab will be staffed by Midland Computer Club members on the second Monday (9 - 11 AM), first Friday (2 - 4 PM) and second Friday (10 - 12 PM) of each month. Jerry Vance has developed a wonderful beginners class that will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about getting around in your computer. Recognizing the need to help mature drivers improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents, AARP offers a mature driving class to all motorist aged 50+. Refine your skills and develop safe defensive driving techniques. Some insurance companies offer discounts for having taken this driving class. Please call 832-7937 ext. 2270 to sign up. This is a men's discussion group that meets every Tuesday at 8:30 am from September through May. Each person takes a week and presents a topic, whether it's a video or just something they want to talk about.

Duplicate Bridge is back at the Community Center! The afternoon group will meet in the 50+ Center lounge on Mondays at 12:30 PM, the Wednesday night group will meet at 7:00 PM in the lounge and the Sunday group will meet at 2:00 PM in the 50+ Computer Room.

MAH JONGG is a rummy-like game using special tiles that originated in CHINA many years ago. Although players often play it to gamble, it is great just to play the AMERICAN version using the rules of National Mah Jongg. Join some avid Mah Jongg players who want others to join their fun. The 50+ Center for Active Adults has six quality pool tables. The room is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You can enjoy 8-ball, 9-ball or even a game of cut-throat. Feel free to join in a game with our regular players or bring your friends. Either way you are sure to enjoy a great time playing pool at the Community Center.
