AM. RED CROSS LESSONS
All aquatic instructional programs are offered under the standards of the American Red Cross program. Standardized skills and progress reports will be used in all classes to reflect each student's abilities. Group classes offer a small class ratio of maximum 5 students per teacher; semi-private classes offer a 4:1 ratio. All programs will meet in the Oasis area except where noted with *. These lessons will meet in the East Pool. PRESCHOOL AGE CLASSES are offered during the day in specific groupings, while EVENING AND SATURDAY CLASSES are offered as part of School Age Levels 1 - 6 group lessons. **Please note - there will be no swim lessons November 25-27. Classes are appropriately priced.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS:
1. No make-ups will be given for any missed classes. Swim class fees do not include admittance to any open swim times.
2. During swim classes, parents will be asked to watch from the observation rooms overlooking the pools rather than on the deck. Please talk with your child about this so they know what to expect.
3. Please bring hair ties or clips for hair that will hang in the face when wet.
4. Please remove street shoes before entering pool area.
5. Be sure the student uses the bathroom before class, especially younger students that may need help.

For ages 6-36 months. Parents/guardians will be taught methods to help their child with basic water adjustment skills, swimming techniques, confidence and independence in the water. Interaction, bonding, water safety and fun will also be a focus of this class. These classes will be divided by age and ability within each time slot to accommodate the difference in developmental skills as well as first time families and returning students. GM5

For ages 36 months and older first time students or 30 months and older repeat students. This class is designed for families that want to continue a hands-on approach to their child's swimming skills. Parents/guardians/care givers will be taught methods to help their child with basic water adjuustment skills, swimming techniques, confidence and independence in the water. AM. RED CROSS LESSONS 6 - SCHOOL AGE Levels 1-6
Youth lessons, for ages 3 through 16 years old, are DIVIDED BY AGE AND ABILITY within each time slot. All levels, from first time 3 year olds through advanced level 6, will be offered. Sign your child up for a time slot that accomodates your schedule and a qualified WSI Instructor will divide them into the appropriate levels. This accommodates all your children in one time frame!! This camp is designed to give the basics of Synchronized Swimming. In synchronized swimming, the swimmers perform a choreographed routine to dance music. It is much like a dance performance, except that the whole routine is performed in the water. Much of the time, the swimmer is under water, and often upside down. Come join us and we will put together a short routine.

CPO certification coarses are designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. The Certified Pool/Spa Operator certification program is widely accepted by health departments. The coarse instructors represent every segment in the aquatic industry including operators, health officials, service professionals, builders, manufacturers, property managers, retailers, and academicians. This training has helped protect millions of swimmers by reducing hazards at aquatic facilities. Written test required.
