Midland Community Center Preschool Programs:
Your preschooler will participate in age appropriate learning activities that will help him/her start elementary school with confidence, and the skills that they need to succeed. We believe that each child is unique, and should be encouraged to work at their own level and pace. Our lead staff are qualified early childhood educators who use a thematic curriculum that includes developmentally appropriate activities for each child in the class. Daily lesson plans include activities for sensory, art, literacy, language, large and small muscle developmment, as well as opportunities for block building, imaginary play, stories, and songs. Occasional field trips and special parties are also planned. Our preschool program offers a balance between education and recreation. In addition to our educational component, the children are able to participate in gymnastics, creative movement, and the climbing wall. These specialty classes are taught by trained instructors and offered at no additional cost.

Midland Community Center Childcare:
In existence since 1989, Midland Community Center Childcare is licensed through the State of Michigan. Our childcare program is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment that encourages every child to grow and learn through play and exploration. Each age group has planned daily activities designed to promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to meeting each child's individual needs and ensuring that the children have fun and feel both safe and special. We offer flexible enrollment and payment options for children ages six weeks through 12 years. We have before and after school care available at the Midland Community Center site (for Eastlawn), as well as at Chestnut Hill, Siebert, and Woodcrest elementary schools.
